Job Description
The Project Manager will coordinate all activities involved in the Operations of Wireline Outside Plant Construction. The customer facing Project Manager drives and holds the internal teams accountable for delivering against the program schedule and provides status and updates to the client. This role requires strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, multitasking, and ability to create & manage relationships. The Project Manager represents the company to the client at scheduling & status meetings and manages the workflow of all work projects issued by the customer.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Manage the Wireline Outside Plant Construction Build Plan driving the internal field teams and holding them accountable for delivery and meeting dates
- Gather updates from both the internal team members and systems and deliver status to the internal leadership team and the client
- Ensure that the build plan and projects are meeting the deliverable timelines and expectations
- Work with the client on both work triggered for construction, pending work to be triggered
- Manage the communication and interaction with the client and provide status & updates
- Manage change order work completion process ensuring that work is pre-approved, not to overextend the company.
- Generate revenue with positive expected margins for the company.
- Ensure company databases are kept current and accurate.
- Assist with company resource scheduling as needed
- Ensure key issues of cost, time, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Working with the Municipalities and executing the permits as appropriate
- Responsible for cross functional coordination with construction operations team to ensure build schedule alignment with customer priorities.
- Review and implementation of key performance metrics (Build production / Overage Job Management / Market Productivity / etc.)
- Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations and policies.
- Customer Escalations / Roadblock Mitigation
Required Qualifications:
- Three to Five Years of Proven customer-facing Outside Plant Construction or comparable Utility Construction project management experience with large programs and success in meeting deliverables and delivery leading internal teams and driving accountability
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other systems as needed, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.), and Word
- Proficient with Google Drive and Sheets
- Proven Strong Data Manipulation Skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, etc. in the accomplishments of goals and objectives
- Demonstrated Strong Organizational Skills & Attention to Detail
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations

Education
